Miss Claudia teaches ballet from ages 3-Adult. At our school we teach the Royal Academy Of Dance syllabus. Every year in August we do ballet exams. However, it is not compulsory and you may decide if you would like your child to do it or not. We are not a competetive school. However if your child wishes to compete we can offer private lessons. For the first semester we focus on learning for exams and in the second semester we learn for our end of year performance. The end of year performance is always a new and exciting theme. In the past we have done:
Cinderella
The Wizard Of Oz
Mary Poppins
The Little Memaid
The Circus
Coppelia
Peter Pan
The Lion, Witch And The Wardrobe
Aladdin
Alice In Wonderland
The Ugly Duckling
Snow White and the Dwarfs
With every concert your child gets a chance to get dressed up in new and exciting costumes!

What The Parents Think
I would highly recommend the Pierrot School of Dance and the owner of the business and teacher Claudia Maddeford to parents who are looking for a dance school for their children. Claudia has become an integral part of the development of our daughter, she has been teaching her for over 10 years. Throughout this time our daughter has had the opportunity to complete RAD Exams, participate in competitions and concerts. The friendships she has developed over this time have been wonderful and as a whole the school is like one big family. If you are looking for a more relaxed atmosphere and an opportunity for your child to learn ballet, tap, contemporary and jazz from an extremely experienced and wonderful teacher, I would definitely recommend Claudia Maddeford and the Pierrot School of Dance. - D.L
